This course is focused on providing students with a balanced and wholistic training that will equip them to not only be academically excellent but above all be prepared and ready to fulfill the Great Commission and that their experiential knowledge of God is evidenced in their character, outlook, conduct, relationship and involvement in the ministry.
Graduates of this course will not just be assigned to churches but will also serve as agents of change in the society be it in the community, academe, marketplaces, agencies, tribes and people groups.
This course is specifically designed and is based on fundamental facts about children’s quality of life and their contributions to society as individuals and later as adults. Global research shows that the early years are crucial, thus, the need for proper support for growth in language, motor skills, adaptive abilities and socio-emotional functioning to develop the child’s maximum potentials which in turn will lead to competence in school, success in the workplace and positive contributions to society (CMO 76, s. 2017).
Students in this program will not only develop a solid foundation on developmentally appropriate practices in effective early childhood education and care, they will also be trained and equipped to serve as catalysts for Christ in the world.
